I am really going back to basic Real Estate 101. When you put a house on the market for the first time make sure it has its best face. Fresh paint, undamaged flooring, clean functional appliances and a complete absence of clutter are essential. I am still amazed at the lack of effort some realtors put into preparing their listings. Over the years I have assembled an assembly line of home service people who will help me prepare a home. If my client is struggling financially I will pay for it myself. I have found that a small investment of money on my part makes my job easier and helps sell the home..It is the best advertising in the world when potential clients hear that you helped a home seller prepare their home for the market.  Even simple things like touch up paint mater. I am able to tile bathrooms for  few hundred dollars including material. New tile instead of old vinyl matter. Contribute in tough times and you will have a client for life
